Thanks! So when you wash, do you put some ointment (or whatever aftercare product you’re using) on before the saran? Or is it just wash, then saran?
Remove saran. Wash hands. Wash tattoo. Replace saran.
No ointment or lotion until after the plastic wrap comes off for the last time.

I like it, too. Nice tattoo.
I’ve used the ‘dry wrap’ healing process several times. Previous artists have recommended that the saran be used until it starts to peel. Usually the fourth day. The last artist said 6 days and that worked better for me, was all peeled by then. (the saran wrap was removed, the tattoo cleaned, and fresh saran…[Read more]

I went back to Palm Springs over the weekend to finish up one of the pieces started at the show in July. It was a bit of a marathon session, I’ve never done an all nighter before. There were a few times that I nearly tapped out, but we got her done. Hova absolutely exceeded my very high expectations.
The picture isn’t great, it was hard to get…[Read more]

That came out nicely. Not that there was ever any doubt. And doesn’t look like a cover up at all.

I would tip for a touch up. For the same reasons that Sam said. Plus to show the artist that I appreciate the artist’s time and work. I have also tipped for a second session on a ‘pay by the piece’ (instead of by the hour). The artist reminded me that it had already been paid for, inluding a tip, during the first session. I just smiled and…[Read more]

If fixing that skirt line gets rid of the problem that YOU don’t like, then that’s what you should do. Like someone said earlier the most important thing is that you love it, and the bunched up skirt makes you not love it. So have that part fixed.

I really like a well executed traditional style eagle tattoo. And as long as you don’t include a waving American flag it won’t look all ‘American’.

What he said ^^^^^.
And you need to have them go over the C V and I on your wrist, to make the lines the same thickness as the M’s.

Just saw this, thought you might find some inspiration here: Snake Tattoos | Inked Magazine
I especially like number 4 and number 16, but that’s probably because I’m all about the realism. The snakeskin sleeve is SICK, too.
Also, have you thought about maybe a Medusa instead of just a snake? I know that it is a bit of a departure from your…[Read more]

Looks like a nice tattoo but it doesn’t look like a phoenix to me, I think it looks more like a fancy pheasant.
I think adding any type of fire will ruin this tattoo. This is what I thought. It is a well executed tattoo, but not a phoenix due to the colour choices.
