That’s the actual tattoo machine he used
eeww…looks more like a murder weapon of some kind. 😮
My boyfriend is OK with my tattoos since he has several himself. But he says there should just be a limit to the tattoos that I’m going to get. Not sure what to make of that yet.
I read somewhere that you will only be allowed to be tattooed in that village once you’ve taken the head of your enemy. 😮
oops…the picture won’t load. I’m so new to this hehe. Anyway, here’s a link http://roguewyndwalker.deviantart.com/art/Colored-Triple-Goddess-Tattoo-53856914
Aussie_Al, this is a triple goddess….
It’s sometimes drawn as first quarter, full and last quarter moon. I initially had just the figure. But it faded after a few years and the moons weren’t proportional. So I had it redone 2 years. The artist made the quarter moons bigger and added some foliage. Kinda similar to the picture. 😮
My first tattoo was of a triple goddess. It was to remind myself of the seasons in any person’s life. I also have a tribute piece for my brother on my arm. It’s just his name in alibata. It reminds me of him and makes me feel that he’s always with me.
I have a tribute piece for my brother on my arm and a triple goddess tat on my back. I’m thinking of getting an ouroboros on my ankle. I actually want a portrait of my beloved dog but I don’t know where to put it. Plus the chances of that happening are nil since the boyfriend doesn’t want me to get anymore ink. 🙁
Had my first one when I was almost 30. I never considered getting a tattoo before…but I guess when I got older and had some life defining experiences, it made me want to express myself through something as permanent as a tattoo. (Plus when my parents freaked out over it, they could no longer ground me for it.) 😀
I agree that it really depends on the club scene you go for. If you go to one of those dance/ rave/ trance whatever you call them clubs, you won’t see lots of tattoos. Maybe the occasional small ones. I go to small bars with bands that cater more to the rock and roll crowd and there are lots of pretty cool ink there.
Nice. Some people have really nice stories behind their tattoos. 🙂
I don’t really stare at people’s tattoos, I “discreetly” look especially if it’s beautifully done :p I have to admit I like some of the attention I get when some people see my tattoos.
The first time I went in for a tattoo I knew it was going to hurt. But I also knew I was just gonna have to deal with the pain because I WANTED that tattoo. Just accept the pain or don’t get inked.
oh, thanks…i don’t have that show on cable too. so i should either buy a dvd or watch it online. 🙂
