You obviously dont understand me.

Everyone runs their machines different.. It depends on what people are comfortable with. Some people like to use a longer throw with higher power.

Personally, for shaded stuff I use a short throw and a long throw for solid stuff.

Some people have to push harder to get good lines because their machines arent running efficiently. Its not that they are trying to cause pain, its just how they tattoo.

You ever see any clips of Joshua Carlton tattooing? He looks like he pushes hard and he dry rags.. It looks like it kills, but I dare you to call him a shit tattooist.

Some people hurt more.. It all depends on how they run their machines and if they like to dig. Sometimes barely touching the skin hurts more than pushing it in. There are a lot of factors.

A little trick I learned is to stay relaxed. Dont even clench your teeth. If you tighten any muscle in your body it makes it works.

Xanax helps.

Marijuana makes it worse (I dont know from experience, Im not a junky)

Most good shops recommend aquaphor.

If it is like A+D like it sounds like it is, it expands when it gets warm.. So it soaks into the skin, warms, expands, forces its self back through the pores taking ink with it. Bag balm does it too.

Boob tattoos are trashy looking to me.. Just my opinion.

I actually walked by last week.. I took a picture of the store front because I thought the name was funny. I cant believe how small the shops are around there.. Like getting tattooed in a closet. I couldnt do it. Claustrophobic.

Theres is a nice little comic shop down the street from there that could drain my bank account though.. They have tons of neat stuff.

I looked up Bepanthen. Essentially, its the same thing as A + D ointment, which I would NEVER recommend. I used it when I first started getting tattooed, I had it pull ink out of my tattoo 3 days after having it done.

Every time someone comes back to the shop wanting a touch up and it looks really old even though its only a few months old I have to ask “were you using A+D ointment” and the answer is almost always yes. I need to stop doing free touch ups for people that use that stuff.

The warm feeling was your body fighting an infection.

I dont know why it is peeling again.. It sounds like you might have been tattooed by a burger boy. I havent seen the tattoo so I dont know for sure, but it sounds like you paid for a nasty scar.

The wrist is always a sensitive place to be tattooed, the artist should have known to be extra careful with the delicate skin.

I love Aquaphor for my own tattoos and recommend it to all of my customers. You dont need to switch to lotion, but it wont hurt anything to switch after you are done peeling. Lotion feels a little better after its done peeling.. No more greasy feeling.

My first post also.

Im not too experienced in cover-ups, but your best bet would be to try and lighten it.

Ive never used any of the acid peels, but I know how they work and the principals are correct.. You could give it a shot.. Or go in for a few laser sessions.

Lightening the tattoo significantly improves your chances of getting it covered with something you would like rather than having to settle for something thats too dark.

Laser is expensive, but hey, is the money going to matter in 10 years when youre looking at a crappy black dragon on your arm? Or possibly looking at another bad tattoo used to cover the crappy black dragon?
