If you are having an allergic/rejection reaction, it may cause you problems for a very long time indeed. Your skin is trying to push out the ink. Red is one of the most common colors for rejection but being Thailand, there is no telling WHAT is in the pigment as colorant. Soap and water, keep it clean, and take your meds. The rest is up to your body.

I did a dog collar for a buddy. The name went on the outside of the collar, the passing date was on the inside. The tags hanging from the collar read, “Trusted Friend”
Just a thought. It came out sweet, but your idea is cool too. -

Try “pierced fish” they carry about a million different pieces. You will probably be ok to just dab some makeup on it. As long as its not a bright, shiny jewelry it should pass as a mole or beauty mark.
Who would be rude enough to ask about it? -

Time is money. It is insulting to expect any artist to make time to work on your design without compensation for their time. The artist you chose apparently has many clients that are serious enough to pay for the work.
A booked artist does not have time to draw up designs they may not be inking immediately. Make an appointment to get the tattoo,…[Read more] -

Yeah,
Another strike against tribal is that they are so hard to cover!
A cover up is not like slapping a new coat of paint over an old one. The newer the ink, the harder the job, and the more black work in the original, the harder the job. The artist that suggested biomech is probably right. You can work that into the existing ink with the best…[Read more] -

Take your artist a printout of the original and let them handle the design. The stencil should not take long given that its a simple tattoo. Tribal black with a drop shadow (for example) shouldnt take much longer than an hour plus set-up and design. Look at spending around $200 for a decent shop. That covers design and tattooing.

replied to the topic How detailed can a tattoo needle get? in the forum General Tattoo Discussion 14 years, 10 months ago
Sometimes great art translates poorly into tattooing. You have heard your options. Bigger, or less detail, or softening of the sharpness over time. A single needle done with a sure hand can execute some very fine, sharp lines indeed. Modern black pigments are much less prone to fading and bluing over time, but ink is still going to spread and…[Read more]

I see more anger in their future. Any tattoo that you have to explain, is a bad one.
Wings? Wings?!! WTF!

replied to the topic Back to back sessions? in the forum General Tattoo Discussion 14 years, 10 months ago
You should really never work the same skin again without a miniimum of two to three weeks heal time in between. However, you can do a second session if the area being worked is fresh. I usually work just the outline first on big or complicated peices. Then schedule a second session in three weeks for color fill. If the artist is working on lining…[Read more]

Easy as pie! You could get it photoshopped or get any good portrait artist to do a drawing. Definitely find an artist that specializes in portraiture. Mike Devries or Nikko Hurtado would be frikkin’ sweet!

replied to the topic too long to heal? in the forum Tattoo Aftercare 14 years, 10 months ago
Normal healing time is from 21-28 days or longer. Dont worry about what the outer layers of skin look like at this point. Trust me, the ink is in a deeper layer of skin. If you have no infection, then you have no worries.

This is a little kind of off, but I was wondering it you can tattoo over backne. It so, when it heals would the artist have to go back over it. TIANot a good idea. You are inking already inflammed and damaged skin. When it heals, you will lose most of the ink in the infected areas.

If the tattoo is still in the healing process, its probably just the aftercare. you rub greasy lotions into the skin and its common to get clogged pores. Aquaphor does that to me. Stop using whatever lotion it is, and just wash the more frequently. If its near an already healed tattoo, then its just normal acne, nothing to worry about.

Ouch!
Ive seen worse, but Ive done much better.
Obviously its in a shop, but its not great.
Not trying to hate on your ink bro, but its choppy and raw. You might want to get it re-worked when you turn 18. Its not very even, and the arms of the cross are not consistent or straight.
Its illegal to tattoo a sixteen year old in MANY places – fyi. -
replied to the topic Music tattoo in the forum Design Requests – Find An Artist 14 years, 10 months ago
Four treble clefs as the arms of the cross. Clouds in the background. Rays of light stretching background to foreground to highlight the cross. Black and grey. Could be real sweet.

Yeah,
I agree. It shouldnt be too hard. I would add another iris in the lower leaves and vines pulling them together. Maybe some budding irises as well. Try to work the treble clef into the iris? That way it would look like the star/clefs are morphing into the upper flower. - Load More
