well i found that after 5 days the tattoo was healed relitivly well to get wet, i think its the scabs that shouldnt get wet?

but 2 weeks is totally fine, your skin is healed and nothing can go wrong, and the lougha (loo-pha?) might have taken some top layer of skin (epidermis?) and not affected the tattoo

but i guess to prolong the life of the tattoo you could just hand wash that part, but if you sat and scrubbed extra hard for an hour you probably wouldnt see any fading.

anyway thats my experience with water and 2 week old tattoo’s, i’d have left somebody way more knowledgeable to answer, but its been a few hours since you posted and figured it would be harsh to leave you panicing still 😛

so nothing to worry about, it has probably healed =]

i’ve started using some mousturiser before the tattoo aswell. i think it is, smells like savlon ha.

and throughout the healing i pretty much will wear a T-shirt as much as i can.

the design is fairly simple so a touch up would be all but easy.

and the pain…i cant wait! 😀

should i just make it a habit of keeping the elbow mousturised even months after it has healed?

When I went to the chemists to get some bepanthen cream they didn’t have any in and instead of waiting for the delivery the next day I bought some Kamillosan cream (for babies bottoms), i used it several times a day and kept my tattoo well moisturised with it. I had no scabbing what so ever and was completely healed in just over a week, I was so pleased with the result with this cream i never bothered with bepanthen for my next tattoos, just carried on with Kamillosan. It’s very natural, camomile I believe………smels good too! I wouldn’t presume to advise, just telling you about my own experience.

dont suppose you know the price? i use preperation H, it absolutly stinks for being about £3.50 haha
