I’ve seen that subject brought up before and the general opinion is it won’t make much of a difference. If you have it done on your back, I think there would be no problem. Now maybe an arm tattoo would get a bit distorted if you went from arms like mine to ripped like Arnold, LOL! But I think on your back you’d be pretty safe. Even an arm tattoo shouldn’t change much unless you think you’re going to really alter the size of your arm a lot!

I am leaning towards getting it on my chest which is the most cut part of my body. I can’t really see the tattoo getting too distorted because I’m not planning on taking roids.

Welcome to the forum! I like that design too. Talk to a good artist, they’ll surely come up with some ideas for embellishing it a bit. To me, doing black and grey with that would be the right way to go!

Thanks , I thought it looked pretty sweet with black and grey but there is still time. One of my main concerns is that I’m sure I’ll put on some muscle over the next few years and I don’t want the tattoo to get stretched or anything. Should this be a concern of mine?

Yeah, I’m gonna make sure to visit a few places to see what they can do with the basic design. And I’m not sure what colors would look good, I have some time to decide yet. I want to get it either on my upper left pec, or my upper left back. I absolutely don’t want bright colors, darker colors with some shading would be ideal. Any color schemes in mind for it?
