The tattoo artist used to be a very close friend of mine, and even though were not too close now as she moved away, i don’t want to see her getting into trouble or legal issues. She has started producing tattoos very recently, and everybody on Facebook was posting amazing feedback.
So i posted a few concerns like i showed on page 2 of this thread and was shouted down, so posting it on here and sending the link to this thread was the only way to show it is not just my opinion and others with a lot more experience in this art have similar views.
Ive just done a little research into this as it worries me about the legal aspects for her (the tattooist).

This means that If the tattooist makes a mess of your tattoo, consumer law says he or she is in breach of their contract with you and you can claim financial or physical compensation.
This is to anybody who provides a service in exchange for money, not just a shop, but also a freelance home “scratcher”. So if this could ever go to court, then if the client can convince the magistrate that the tattoo isn’t as the he wanted, and has a low enough skill provided, then they are eligible for a refund plus compensation costs.
Mind you the the post they left on Face Book defending the tattoo is probably about as good a defense as your going to get lol 😀

I checked a few other sites who also back this up, many being legal advisory and parasitic solicitor sites
Ah thats great, as 2 people have contacted me and said they should watch out for legal and court issues, which was what worried me.
Could there be any legal issues, for example could the person who has been tattooed have legal rights to claim compensation and costs of the laser removal?
I genuinely dont know where the angel/devil design came from, i would imagine the internet somewhere.
I didnt really want to comment too much as i didnt want to sway the comments or opionsn with my opions pushing it either way. I made a comment saying can you post pics when they are finished, and had a response saying it is, so i then posted the following comment.
Also the bodies are done in with shading to give 3D appearance, but the faces aren’t which makes them look really flat so could do with some shading to make the faces curve around. And the stocking/boots are shaded to show the curve of the leg, but the thighs aren’t, so it doesn’t carry on the 3D/shading effect as for example under the arse cheeks should be shaded in as i assume the light source is coming from the centre of the angels. This is also the same as the curve of the angels backs, they have shading to make the appearance of curves, but the tails of the dresses dont have that same effect which should be continued.
I cant understand what the zig zag lines are or the marks are in the middle of those zig zag lines and will they fade in over time so it doesnt look like pencil marks?
The inner shadows you have on there are of different darkness, I think if the zig zag lines were as dark as the shadows of the inner legs, it would be much more striking.
As it is at the moment, it looks like its half finished, and needs to be made either completely cartoon 2D or completely shaded, not half of each.
Don’t take it as negative feedback, as it is meant to be constructive feedback, like what happens in my photography all the time, its the way to learn from other peoples opionions and improve.
Then earlier today i had this reply form the person who the tattoo is on
So in the artists defence i think this is the effect that the user wanted. Here are 3 other tattoos she has done on other people.
Knighthawk
I asked for honest opinions, i think you sugar coated this far too much. 😉
Would laser get rid of it, or will it leave a scar that wont sun tan?
