Where are you located? It looks like a really straight forward easy cover-up. I do them all the time. There are quite a few bad tattoo artists in my area that keep me quite busy with cover-ups.
Looks nice, in my opinion a more Alphonse Mucha styled lady would be more appropriate with how feminine the flower is. Traditional can be very strong next to other styles. I definitely think Art Nouveau would suit it well.
One day I’ll make that list.
Thanks for the constructive criticism. I can go back into it again. He’s actually got an appointment for today.
As for getting a tattoo by me, I’ll be at the Cleveland Tattoo Covention in January, the Philadelphia Tattoo Convention in February, the Chicago Tattoo Convention in March, The Rochester Tattoo Expo in April, and guest spots in Indiana, Chicago, and Detroit over the summer. We’ll see if I can find some more places that will have me for a day or two here and there.

you’re getting better and better david, fancy moving to the uk and taking on an apprentice of your own? lol
I’m going to have to get a whole lot better before I ever teach anyone. I would like to go back to the UK though. I was there a few years ago. I had a blast. I’d love to travel and tattoo over there.
There’s actually not a lot of white over the old tattoo. Mostly chalky blues like dusty blue and periwinkle. I have had incredible success with these colors in regards to cover-ups. I’ll try to get a healed photo for you. My client is coming back this week for more.

It’s impossible to have an accurate swatch. Every color will be slightly different on each individual skin tone. Your best bet is to mix the color. Basic color theory.
Depends on traffic.
I’m interested in seeing some work as well. I love to do illustrative color tattoos.
If yo ever come to Niagara Falls, I’m 20 minutes away.
Thanks! I’m always trying to pick up new things from other artists. I’m trying to make a better tattoo every day.
