I don’t mind people looking because I don’t care what people think of me to an extent.. but will people always think negative of me?

I really do like them and it is up to me at the end of the day but are people going to think thug, prison, etc?

When people are going to stare do you mean literally stare at me or just glance then look away?

Are living in a world of your own or are you taking the piss! Has any of this REALLY not entered your head? If not, then you’re not ready for it man!

It’s lovely, the size is perfect. I like colour but I’m assuming the Phoenix is staying the way it is?

Nothing deep or meaningful in anything I have. My artist is amazing, all he needs is an idea and he gets it perfectly. The rose is a cover up and the birds are done in the same colours as what I have lower down, so I’m going to get more birds flying down turning into little cheetahs with wings

Are you only planning on having one child? If the next one’s a girl, how will you even it up?

I must be weird. I’d say no thanks and stick to my own man. There is nothing they can do that he can’t and I’d feel quite disloyal about it too.

Wax it lads, wax it! Nothing worse than snuggling up to a prickley body. You’ll get 4 weeks out of it and it grows back soft.

That is a very negative survey that will in no way reflect the feelings of the participants. Someone who answers ‘strongly agree’ to the negative self worth/image questions will have evolved those emotions very far away from their ink! And, even those who do strongly agree will most likely lie and express total satisfaction with themselves! I am surprised at a third year student having an obvious narrow mind as is transparent in the questions.

Years and years ago, there was a tatto artist in Dublin, at the time, he was about the ONLY tattoo artist in Dublin. Very famous, brilliant work, he had none himself that were visible. I always took it that this was because there wasn’t anyone else around to do them! Or at least anyone he trusted. That was my take on it, and it was a long time ago.

I’m sorry, but I can’t get past the issue of doing what your husband wants and sacrificing your own desire. If it’s down to money, wait until you have your own and get what you want. You might end up resenting it. Hard as it sounds, there’s a bit of blackmail going on. Alternatively, get something that can be added to. You’d be surprised at how things can kinda shrink a bit when you get used to looking at it, so going a bit bigger then won’t be noticed.

I knew going in that this would not be a tattoo that everyone would like…

Even if you didn’t like it you would appreciate the work and idea.

It’s absolutely beautiful!

It’s a damn good two pesos Izzy.

I’ve put myself into $10,000 worth of debt last year going to an art school just to maybe, POSSIBLY, get a chance at this. I’m not afraid of hard work, or working for free, or being treated like shit. I’ll do whatever I have to do.
.

Did you say you were going to forget about your degree? That’s a shame. Stick it out, further education is no weight to carry.

As far as being ‘treated like shit’ is concerned, I take it the attitude you sometimes display here is purely the endevours of an on-line persona? One that would be entirely too intolerant of the demands put on an indentured apprentice, and scathing of us mere mortals, who would be customers, with dodgy ideas and/or body art?

I’m hoping to get a translation, then correspond with a friend to see if its accurate.

Why don’t you just ask your friend??????? If he knows it’s right, he knows!
