I like everything beside the mask one, darn why do I have the feeling tribal pieces are going to be more original than the Chinese ones soon?

I don’t think kanji will ever get you close to modeling in an ink magazine.
I’m pretty sure they are looking for something original and well done.
You could always plan on getting something new and good looking for the magazines. 😉

Great piece man, I just love the red and the skin torns.
IMO you could off added some more details to the biomech itself, but it does look great the way it is now.

If you find a good artist you could make a tattoo of a few people standing in a circle and handing helpful hands to a person lying on the floor.
Or just get some one trying to stand up with a helping hand, exactly what happened to you.
