Hi QuickSilver
There are some Black inks which do not respond well to laser, especially some newer ones, you might have had one of these used in your tattoo. Your consultant should have advised you that there are no guarentees.
Botched tattoos, yes, but botched laser jobs, that will depend if the skin is permently damaged or not
I was going to say ” but who would let someone like that (who just brought a machine and started using it without knowledge or training) use a laser on them, but then i think of some of the tattoos i have seen which were done by ‘friends’ who brought a machine on eBay and realised that, yes there are plenty of people who would”
In theory yes, no recognised qualifications, scary thought eh ?? . . . .
Hi Cornishtiger
My first machine was from a UK supplier, who stitched me up (and many others) big time. I was a lucky one and got a machine but lots of others did not receive a thing . . . .
Ami or CG
I like Ami’s attitude, takes no ***t
Hi, The studio i work at in the UK has a minimum charge of £40 and for what you have in mind and without seeing it i would guess roughly between £40 to £80 GBP, BUT that is only what the studio i work in would charge.
seems your wife thinks your a numb nuts .
ok im not a pro but i can tell you that the advice she was given is BS.
you could pick the scab and it will fade it but will still be able to see the two . but its still prob your best option .
laser treatment wouldn’t really work because it would take out a decent size area around it , like your bars other numbers etc ….
just the numbers can be removed by laser treatment, most machines have a very small spot size and it would be easy to target the numbers you want removed, and black ink reacts the best. Will take quite a few sessions, but once healed you can have the correct numbers inked
Its raised a bit, and I’m just concerned about the future and being able to keep an eye on it.
Can I have the ink lasered off of just the mole? Will it damage the mole in any way or create a danger for cancer?
Any ideas from removal specialists out there?
Itd be cheap to do, its less than a 1/4″ diamater, and for probably one session just to lighten it, I’m sure it wouldnt be a lot.
Thanks,
Ryan
Dont do it, never use a laser over a mole, too risky 🙂
