Well, you will have to let me be a little snarky (if this is the right word). While those tattoos are awesome, in my eyes they are trying to be realistic, look the best they can, be a real face. I wanted a sketch, not a drawing or a foto.
Don’t know if i’m expressing well what I am trying to say, hope you understand.

To give you a picture of my mindset, i took a look on that list and it has a few guys somehow close to me. I knew about theese guys before i got the tattoo, I just don’t like their artistic style. Don’t get me wrong, their tattoos are great, they just don’t fit my taste. But when I saw work from my tattoo artist i liked it right away. I had been thinking about getting a tattoo for 3 years, but i never felt ok with the artists, untill I saw this guys portfolio.

Depth as in 3d-Tattoo? Not something I was after…
The white lines have faded, I can see it looks too much on the photo, but on my arm it is much better.
As for the eye and the nose, it’s not made to reseble a real face, nor complete reality, and I like it so. I specialy like how a mole is in the middle of the nose, makes it unique.
As for sloppy, i just don’t see it…
