hmm… for filipino tribal, i would only trust a filipino tattoo artist. not someone who just studied some books, but someone who lived/lives the life. someone who know what all the tribal symbols would mean. but… if finding someone like that would be hard, i would suggest the “8 ray sun & 3 stars” on the filipino flag. im full filipino myself & considering that for a tattoo & incorporating the Hawaiian islands, since im a born & raised Maui boy.

my sister has a panther with a ribbon flowing around with her kids names on there. a panther because she reeeaaaalllly loves cats & jokes around sometimes & says she was a cat in a past life. lol!:rolleyes:

nice…but i never see those kinda designs in polynesian tattoos. and ive seen A LOT! heres actually a myspace photo album from a local tattooist who specializes in polynesian tattoos. one of the best on the island IMO….
