Oh wow, that’s going to look awesome once it’s done.
That is what I mean – where the blow hole should be is just a long line. :p
You could move the line further back along the skull and mark an area for the blow hole (it will be closed as below water)
Post up your tatt when done will look sweet.

Okay, I changed the eye a bit, I do agree it looks better with more expression (though I may play around with it a bit more)… the blowhole I’m still not sure what to do with. I circled it in red (the somewhat squarish shape in the center is it). I also realize it’s too high up on the head, if one is to get technical… as it should be above the eye, more or less, and the shape changed. I’m kind of tempted to leave it since i don’t mind it and am not sure how abouts to change it… but if anyone had any suggestions on what to do I’d be happy to try them.

Hope I’m not becoming a bother, thanks for any further thoughts/comments.
Yeah, I think that’s what he was talking about, making the lines smoother and more fluid. That being said, they look like water as is to me lol… glad someone else thinks so, too.
Nice design which i like but I will suggest a couple of things because I really want you to get the best you can from it.
This is constructive criticism and is not meant to bag on your design
The first thing that struck me is the top of the head – with the curl across the top of the head it looks like it has a torn blow hole.
I would personally shorten it just a fraction to depict the ‘dip’ where the blow whole is. This is because the dolphin is under water so the hole will be sealed.
The second thing is I would make the eye slightly more distinctive as that is the key attraction of these mammals theirs eyes show a lot of life and intelligence.
It will also help to avoid blurring later on in the life of the tattoo.
You can always add more coral reef (even in a tribal style) or tribal fish running through the water.
Looks great though.

No worries, I was looking for constructive criticism. I can see what you mean with the eye, I’ll work on trying to tweak it a bit. However, I’m not totally following you with the blowhole comment, mostly because I know a few people who have looked at and weren’t sure which line was supposed to be representing it. Probably just an issue understanding on my half.
