i think portraits look better b+g, and it could really pop against a colorful surrounding

i’m not sure if i’ve seen a lot of herons if japanese tattoo art, but i would try looking for images of cranes in japanese tattoo for inspiration, not exactly the same but similar

haha- i felt i should introduce myself, but wasn’t sure what to say. i’m a student, an art major, i’m a waitress/barista, and i love me some good tattoos

i was thinking of orange and yellow for the peonies and maybe a pink or purple for the chrysanthemum and blue for the sparrow
i may leave it black and grey though

if you already have some red that healed with out a problem, i’d say its pretty safe
