Just because I have ideas that you don’t agree with, doesn’t mean you need to be condescending. I am a woman, not a kid. And I really was just hoping even if my ideas are not what people want, they could give them a new perspective or idea. Just be respectful of other peoples ideas, it’s not hard.

Maybe she could get the peace sign turned into a sun for her son, with the outline being black and the inside being his eye color(just be sure his eye are done changing, like some babies eyes do) and the script redone to say something more for family, like “love you, always”.

There is a Disney Pixar short animated film called “lava” that is very interesting, and has a Hawaiian island feel to it, maybe watching the video could give you some inspiration. I feel like it has a kind of yin yang/ two people meant to be vibe to it. Or perhaps a erupting volcano with lava meeting the sea, forming the yin yang symbol.

If you want something sort of romantic, maybe a heart with yin and yang in it, but in the “eye” circular part, you put the positive and negative signs.
or if you want words, I think the phrase “opposites attract” may be appropriate.

I did actually have a brief ticking sensation while getting my tattoo, it kind of felt good on the more fleshy parts and hurt more over my bones.

Maybe a good place to start would be to really just remember your mom and come up with some key aspects of her life, personalty, and things you bonded over. I’ve only ever got one little tattoo on my wrist, and the pain wasn’t too bad. But there were a few sensitive spots. Deep breathing really helped me with those bits, so maybe some research on breathing techniques for pain relief could help you out.

It’s kind of a oddball idea, but picture a jet zooming off, and rather than the cloud like air streaming behind it, there is a trail of small colorful flowers running the length of your scar.

I’m new to all this, but what comes to mind with what you want, is maybe the outline of a strong woman, wearing a U.S. flag as a dress or tank top and leaning against a rifle or some other firearm.
