Sorry, I didn’t mean it to sound as if I didn’t like the idea. I personally like it! It’s different. It fits to the idea, that many soldiers are in truth fighting for peace. Slapping some floral in it would also be a nice touch. Bring out the peaceful side to it.

Sometimes people like to keep things simple. Sometimes they can find a piece of flash on the wall that says it all. Pretty much anytime I saw a piece of flash on the wall, I would do something simple to do to change it from original, but that was me. As Sherav said, the artist can make any piece unique depending on the media used.

That first one looks kinda like a Grenade. Am I correct? It would be an odd piece, 2 military men, and a grenade with a peace symbol.

The artist used very good pigment on the Dragon. It has very nice color for being 12 years old. The Butterflies are very nice. There is no replacing the sentimentality of that tattoo there!! Bravo!!

My suggestion to you is to look in your heart. Think of things that truley mean something to you. Then, focus on some way to turn that into a picture. If you think of a truley meaningful thought, go talk to your artist on how to turn that into a possible image that can cover your existing tattoo, and bring out the feeling that you incurr. Some tribal dragons, or snakes would cover that nicely, I think. Going with something like that would possibly keep from having too big of a dark blob on you. You could reuse some of the lines from the lettering to work with the flowing/rolling of the dragon or snake.
