Try uploading to photobucket, and then when posting use the insert image button. It will ask for the url for the image, and then you will be good to go.

What you are doing is just fine. Now swimming, or baths. You don’t want to soak the tattoo (submerse) it in water for any length of time. shower is fine with water running over it. Then of course do like you are with patting it dry. I suggest that you let it air dry for about 30 minutes, after washing your tattoo, before you put your ointment on it.

Are both tattoos done by the same person? I am kinda wondering if there is a problem of them messing them up, and causing scarring.

Here is something to keep in mind. You will want to look at the meaning of many tattoos before getting one. Sometimes the meaning doesn’t fit your lifestyle. The Nautical Star represents the North star, and that you are searching for your way. With that in mind, does this still fit you?

I think what most shops are saying, is that they are not going to draw something up for you to take and possibly have someone else tattoo on you. Dougie, I mean no offense to you, but take a look at some of the albums that are posted on the site, and then compare them to the work you have, or that your friend is doing, then if you still think that it isn’t that bad, perhaps you should go see an Optometrist.

How about the frog that is part way done the birds mouth, but is reaching out strangling the bird so it can’t swallow him. (Never give up) Naw, I’m just kidding. The ink you have is very nice, and the idea of the pheonix rising from the ashes is pretty slick too.

Pricing depends on the artist mostly. Going price would be around $300-$350 USD in East Tenn.

Spelling is correct, just a different type of font. It makes it look a little off.

Use clean warm water with a antibacterial soap. Wash with your hand only, no wash cloth or sponge. Wash at least 2-3 times a day. Dab it dry with a clean towel after done washing, and let it air dry for about 30-45 minutes before adding any ointment or salve. This should help it to heal nicely.

I suggest letting the same person do all the work. You may not be happy letting one start, and another finish. The pain shouldn’t be too bad where you are planning. First thing is first, talk to local tattoo shops with good artists, and see if you can get an apprenticeship. Second, you probably want to stay away from kits on ebay. Usually not very good quality equipment. The kit doesn’t look too bad, but most quality machines cost anywhere from $200 USD each and up.

Have a small water spiggot coming out of your arm, or back wherever you plan to get it (looking like it is mounted right in your skin.) with a simple water glass underneath.
