It just looks incomplete. You need to define some edges to the circuit board. So that you have an actual board and not just circuits, then just render the board some more, maybe make it look more 3d and then come up with an interesting way to add a few more circuits connections into your skin.

Basically anything in a V type shape or composition is going to accentuate this area the way your are going for. Basically any good custom tattoo artist will be able to take an idea and draw it to fit the area of the body being tattooed. Just look for a good local custom tattoo artist.

Depending on how long the quote is, bold and simple single pass type lettering is usually best.

replied to the topic Planning a sleeve in the forum General Tattoo Discussion 14 years, 2 months ago
When doing a sleeve, its like any other major project. Its all in the planning stages where all the real hard work is done. Just have a really good idea of what you want to include. Then find a really good local custom tattoo artist, and have him draw something up for you. Just have a good plan.

pocket watch, with little silhouetted houses and trees and skyline type stuff, around the edge of the pocket watch. Could be an awesome tattoo with the right custom tattoo artist working on it for you.

I think you have a good idea and have put some thought into it. I would look around locally and find a good custom artist to get something drawn for you. A good custom artist should have a pretty extensive portfolio of sketches, drawings, and tattoos for you to look at. Also ask around and talk to people that have actually been tattooed by the…[Read more]

In general, people will look at you differently. As for the work scenario, it just means when you are in a work capacity you will always have to be in long sleeves. A full sleeve of tattooing is a big commitment. Sleeves are awesome. Tattoos are becoming ever more accpeptable and prevalent. One day there will be a time when people will not…[Read more]

Thats the perfect candidate for a good coverup. You just need a fair amount of color and detail and the right artist and it could turn out to be an awesome tattoo. What kind of things are you into??? Floral, Ornamental, Nature type stuff always make for excellent coverups. But you really have a ton of options.

Looks like you should spend a bit more time at the drawing table working on the portrait skills. Not a bad start but you got a lot of hard work ahead of you.

basically anyone untrained and usually working in unsterile conditions or environments. Aside from the art and imagery of tattooing which can be very subjective, you must be very careful and ensure that your artist has proper medical knowledge on the proper procedures for dealing with blood borne pathogens. replied to the topic What kind of tattoo "style" does sugar skull tattoos fall under? in the forum General Tattoo Discussion 14 years, 2 months ago
sugar skulls are a subject. They come from the day of the dead. Usually they are small decorated sweet breads in real life. As for style, thats up to whoever is drawing it. Ive seen them done in a variety of styles, from full photorealism to old school bold tattoo designs.
