Thanks for keeping it on a positive note. I got two years into my first apprenticeship only to have my mentor get locked up. So its not like I don’t know what I’m doing, I’m just lacking those advanced techniques. I guess I take it more seriously than my shops owner, because he tells me just to work it out as I go. But I’d feel better doing it the right way.
Damn, your way ahead of me two weeks in to my apprenticeship. The question is how they look when there healed. But your well on your way, ill have to look you up next time I’m in north west new York.:eek:
I guess the world can’t have too many scratchers. I’m stuck working with one, and he thinks he’s the Scheiße.
Really dude? Really?
Do you like to do conventions?
General discussion.
Now that’s entertainment. I was thinking the real life angry birds. A show about sling-shoting birds at unsuspecting children, the elderly would work too I guess.
I don’t mind shows like LA, Ny, and Miami ink, but to make people think if you pay someone enough you can become a tattoo artist. It angers me considering all I had to do during my apprenticeship. There’s a lot more than pushing ink into skin to be a true tattoo artist, you have to be a good artist first. Sorry, but you can’t teach talent. TLC should stick to shows about midgets and house wifes with too much time on there hands.
Down with tattoo school!
I guess I’m late to the party. 2 years, this has been a moment with Irish the hired gun.:o
Dan van the man. It’s got a good ring to it. I’ll put some up as soon as I can figure it out from my Android.
What kind of cheese? They’re so many different kinds. How does someone choose.
After 2 1/2 years? What’s wrong with it?
Just remember that anything with a perfumey smell is not to be used. The soaps and lotions with a scent to them have alcohol in them, this is not good for a healing tattoo. I’ve found in a pinch vasaline is good for the first couple of days, use it sparingly like a dime(coin) size dab 2-3 times a day. Then after that I use baby lotion. A rule of thumb, if its good for a newborn, its ok for a tattoo, just don’t over saturate. You will make the stabbing worse and lose ink.

I will be flooding the forum with pics and tips as soon as I get permission. If anybody knows benny aronda tell him his first apprentice is doing him justice. I lost touch with him awhile back, but I’m still diligent in upholding my obligations.
