Unless you’re seeing skin again in the middle of the tattoo design, where you shouldn’t be, then you’re fine and it’s just healing like it should.
Post pictures if you’re really worried about it, members here can tell you more if they can actually see it.
You’ve done it right.
Welcome to the forums

That can be done but you will need a top notch artist to pull it off well 🙂
Also, instead of looking for a single image that encompasses everything you’re wanting the tattoo to be, look for multiple images maybe? Some of how you want the samurai to look and some for the battlefield etc. The more you give you artist to work with reference wise the more of an understanding the artist can get for what you are looking for.
You should have left with it with what you had, now it just looks like a giant mess.
Too each their own, but you should probably find a new artist.
No one here is going to help you, if you want to start doing tattoos get an apprenticeship and do it the right way.
You wait for it to heal and the color to settle, just like the artist said.
Welcome to the forums, also from Dallas myself. Really digging the back piece you got going, keep us updated (:
I did the same thing while moving in my dorm at the beginning of the year. I let it heal like normal and the only problem was there were some serious holes in the ink. Just went back to the shop the next time I was home and got it touched up. Can’t even tell it happened now 🙂
Psh we all know Dallas is where it’s at 😉 I never had any problems with people saying anything about my tats in Dallas.
But started going to school in a small conservative town in Arkansas, and I run into people who try to crucify me for them on a daily basis.
Was definitely a shift for me, and took a while to find someone to hire me. But thank god for wal-mart I guess cause they gave me a job.

Not the simple copy paste you want exactly, but it takes less than 2 minutes to download and install the font into you doc program, then you can resize and everything you want and print from there.
Looks good to me, I’m no expert but still. Really like the color combination that you chose for the lettering, it’s not a whole lot but it pops and was first thing to grab my attention.
I have 4 : Right rib cage, collar bone, a line on both biceps, and then one right between my shoulder blades. Plain on getting plenty more but I want them to: A) look good or B) mean something to me.
My home town is a pretty big area, so you find plenty of both accepting people and people that look at you like you’re the scum of the Earth.
However the town I live in for college bleeds conservative. So nobody likes them, but meh doesn’t bother me any, just gives me incentive to show them off more.
My mum jokes with me cause when I got my ribs done I was constantly saying “I’m only getting one…” Obviously didn’t work out like that. However I’m getting home from college in 2 weeks and taking her to get her first, so I’m guessing she’s cool with it. (:
I’m 19 now, got my first the day after I turned 18.
My rib cage is a memorial piece to my pops who died in a car accident, I was young but my god-father who was military with him says I’m just like him
My chest- “This is loyalty, this is Family” had a lot of issues going through highschool and family is family and just wanted something to commemorate that for me.
My biceps- ” Seize the day, tomorrow is never promised”
My back- “I am the alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.” These 2 go together for me just as a reminder that this is a life quickly passing by and I strongly believe in living in the moment and making the most of everything I do.
I would usually agree, however 25 years is way different from Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson, or any other celebrity marriage for that matter.
I say go for it, like stated above after 25 years there’s plenty you could add to make this personal and original. Best of luck on getting it.
