I see what you mean. It’s not horrible, but it is an awful lot of ink that doesn’t say a whole lot… if that makes sense. I can’t imagine what the cost (not to mention pain) of laser removal would be.

Isn’t black supposedly one of the easier colors to remove though?

Price is a concern to a small extent. By that, I mean that I won’t commit myself to something like a full back piece when I know I can’t afford it. My main concern was finding an artist that worked in the style I was looking for, produced solid work, liked the idea, and was willing to work with my limited schedule.

For $5…. definitely try it. It makes your skin like new, and the heat is great for arthritis etc. I get sore joints in one hand and paraffin dip fixes everything for a few days. I’m gonna pick up a kit for home when they’re cheap around the holidays.
