I certainly don’t speak for everyone on this site, but my primary problem with your tattoo is it seems to me that you’re copying someone else’s. Take a look at the good old Dungeons and Dragons classic illustrators. Larry Elmore, Jeff Easley, etc… or even the new guys like Todd Lockwood.

Plus, you can just start pulling kids books on illustrating dragons from your local library.

The gold tooth is a nice touch.

Also, if you go with the “realistic” one, be sure to get your own reference pictures of real wolves in addition to the tattoo pic. Any good artist will not put someone else’s tattoo on your body. You probably already know that, but I thought I’d mention it just in case.

I tell this to my composition students: Avoid using quotes that you didn’t encounter yourself. You can get advice from people, or pull a quote off of an internet quote site, but what you’ll be missing is context. Using a quote without context is dangerous. You may not be saying what you think you say.

I’m going to have to agree with Adler. I think that down the road, you’ll wish you had gotten something more original.

I think it’s a really good idea to avoid company logos. You can get something of your own design that will give you the same feel, and not look cheesy to everyone else who sees it. The text you want doesn’t suit me, but I’m not you. The logo, however, is the thing I think you’re MOST likely to regret.
