well I drew a better layout, crystal formation pretty much like a geode, but the base was a problem with way too many small crystals as it is in reality… so going to fade them out to nothing instead, and make the size of the rose bigger, and on one side of the background so it doesn’t blur out later I guess.

To be honest I really don’t understand why you guys are saying it’s a lot of stuff for a small space… when these oriental or japanese tattoos have like 50 things in one square inch of skin, clearly proving so much detail in small spaces isn’t a problem, for example:

I was also at deviantart earlier, I actually was able to sketch a really rough layout myself after a few hours of browsing tattoos and pics…:)

Maybe someone knows of a tattoo artist in ny, the closer to central ny the better, who knows how to work well with crystals and/or ice without making it look cheap? I rarely see tattoos with the latter in them so I’m hesitant with picking someone.

I think it should fit in my hand on my shoulderblade/back, probably 6-8 inches tall and 5-6 across… At most 9 inches tall and 6-7 across

update, I am VERY fond of a fleur de lis created from smoothly flowing twisted or bended strands of dimensional metal, that almost represent blades, sheaved together like your traditional fleur de lis, except sheaved with a complex tribal design.
