Thank you all for your responses. You’ve all been very helpful but you have confirmed what I suspected and it would seem there’s going to be a few issues. Obviously this was just an idea but if I was going to go ahead with it I would want my tattoo to look great and stay looking great, especially being in such a visible place and having such meaning to me.

After thought, it seems that even with the best care the tattoo would need re-inking and the size of lettering could cause problems so in reality wouldn’t look as good as the idea in my head.
