why not? chances are if it exists, plenty of people already have it tattooed. but if you got some sort of connection to oriental culture or kanji, get it inked. i love japanese culture and plan on getting some kanji myself, but just cause a million people already have it doesn’t mean you still can’t make yours original.

they aren’t really celebrities, but my favorite inked rockstars would have to be Nikki Sixx and Tommy Lee of Motley Crue. they both have insane amounts of killer tattoos. Josh Todd of Buckcherry also has some pretty sweet ink, especially suicide king backpiece.

its a cool idea, but it probably goes under that “unusual places” category where you’ve gotta find the right artist for the job, someone who has experience tattooing there. i dont see why there’d be any legality issues with it though.

i was from L.A. , CA for about 6 years (amazing ink/ piercings everywhere you looked), but now reside in Salem, OR. everybody’s kind of anti-tattoo up here, but i think we’ve got maybe 12 parlors in a 5 mile radius. cant stand those hypocriticizers…

thanks matt, appreciate it. and yeah, its definately a compelling book. i sat through and read it all in one day just cause i couldnt put it down. its just crazy, but the book’s got a lot of good art work in it that i wouldnt mind having inked at all.

the piercing itself doesnt hurt so bad, but it will afterwards. i sounded like a complete idiot for about a week and a half after i got it done, but it was worth it. you just have build your tongue’s strength back up after adding the extra weight, and re-learn to talk a little.
