Just for the heck of it, I thought I’d post a photo of my wife’s tattoo that she got. It healed up very nice for her. It’s located on her right hip. The colors represent our family’s birthstones. Like I said, she swears that it will be the last one she gets because there’s no way in Hades that she can stand another one. We’ll see…..

I wonder if adding a lighter color to the purple would bring out the pattern a bit more. I’ll bet a few artist here could tell you. I have no color tattoos so I haven’t a clue. Glad you like it better than the old tattoo and it seems that turtles have meaning to you so that’s good. Best regards.

I’m no tattoo veteran by any means but I have experienced this myself. I got a small cross on my wrist about 1″x1″. Afterwords, I really wished I had gotten something with more design to it. I ended up getting it covered by a different cross with a beveled look to it. The new tattoo is 4″x3″ and I’m much happier with it.
