Yup! Guess I’m just an old American redneck!
Buttwheat, I feel the same way but it seems inevitable that we’re headed that way! I work at a steel fabrication company and when I see drawings sent from our customers with metric dimensions, I hate it. Give me something I can work with! Well, okay, it’s really not a problem with the joys of software these days….but I still hate it. 😡
I really like that tattoo. What is that thing in the middle? I think the solid look of it takes away from the other detail of the tattoo. The detail does seem very nicely done. Congrats on the tattoo.
I really like the new one. Bad ass ink dude.
Welcome to the forums! I’m just curious, being 18 years old, what do your folks think of the ink?
LOL! Tattoo is looking good. Congrats!
Whilst you can get a touch up after 2 weeks it is often better to try and wait 4-6 weeks so the skin beneath is totally healed and you are not overworking the piece.
What this says ^. I have a solid black cross that looked this way after being filled in and I couldn’t wait to get it retouched. The artist could have done something to it 2-3 weeks later but really recommended that I wait a good 4-6 weeks due to this.
LOL, I like the new buttwheat! I noticed you changed your avatar. Is that a photo of you before your morning cup of coffee and visit to the forums?
I like it. Don’t get it covered.
Also, what Reef said…..
Wow, it did heal up well. I am happy for you as it looks great.
LOL, how do you feel this would look on the back of the calf? I really want one there. I plan on visiting the artist for some suggestions if he wants to mix it up a bit.
Good question, Reef. I’ve always been told I have nice sized calf muscles from my running.
Fair enough. I hope I won’t be having to add another, but if it happens, I’ll have to come up with a new tattoo. I really want this one on my right calf.
