Would it be in bad taste to go to another artist to get the highlights done? Like I said in my original post, I got this one done out of state and it’s not really convenient for me to just drive over there one day.

Thanks for such a quick reply Matthew 🙂 I was thinking of asking about using white highlights, but I wasn’t sure that it would show through the black ink. Hopefully I can get myself to a tattoo shop soon and ask about them. Thanks for your advice… really appreciate it.
