these are great, thanks! There are a few I really liked, and alot of elements from one and another that could be added together to make something perfect! I wish that I was in amazing shape to do a side piece like some of those. Thank you very much for your help. I think I want to do some coloring like the pirate ships from the Scooby Doo movie, but a lot less Technicolor, if you know what I mean.

Thanks for the reply.

I do understand that ink needs to be touched up over the years, but that wasn’t my point. I’ve seen/worked with alot of people who have gotten tattoos and they are really excited when they get it, but weeks/months later they realize that “oh hey, he (the artist) fucked up here.” or “man, what the fuck is this?” Basically from what I hear it’s usually a sub-par artist or a rookie. Either way, those people usually have bad drawing skills as well.

I also agree that finding a great artist is like striking gold, because most of what you find are lazy or sub-par artists. My feeling on the subject is, if I am paying for it AND it has to stay on my body for life, then fuck, I better get what I want, not what someone else tries (and fails) to do.

I know I sound like an asshole, but I just don’t want to be like every other John “I got this shitty tattoo because the guy was cheap” Smith.
