This website is starting to blow really hard… as soon as anyone say they are practicing at home they are immidiatly tagged as scratchers… outstanding.
I’ve seen “scratchers” with more skills than “pro artists”, several times… but i guess it just looks cool to be an elitist jerk…

Many artists from now days learned at home, some of them never got an aprenticeship, and still they came out great, it’s all about the dedication you put into it, to search, learn new things, and improve yourself… everybody should just turn this forum to “pros only” sign ins… than you all could lick each others awsomeness without having the “crappys” arround here… DAMN

To the OP, welcome to the forum… but if you are like me, you’ll probably end up leaving like i am doing right now…

About your question, i think you’ll be better asking that on the apropriate section, you will certainly get better replys/ideas there.

Just don’t… i have done the same mistake when i was 16/17, and what i have now is a big bunch of crap to cover up, because you get excited, one more here and there, expand that, etc, etc… and doing to yourself is never the same as to someone else.

In the end, it’s you decision of course.

An idea for it could be something like, a skull laying on the bottom of the sea, maybe like a bit “buried” in the sea floor, slightly tilted to the side, like it has been there for a long time, maybe a few pieces of small coral on it here and there, and with a fish coming out of one of the eye sockets, slightly curved as you want.
I think that would look nice and it’s an idea to blend both things.
