You should let her know how you feel about her attitude. If she doesn’t understand after you speak with her, I suggest finding someone else. I’m sure in a bigger city (if you live in one or don’t mind going to one) that someone could match her style, not EXACTLY, but I’m sure they could do the job AND be nicer about it if you have a problem/want something revised before it’s premaritally etched into your skin. After all, YOU have to live with it forever NOT HER! So, don’t spare her feelings or stick with her just because you feel obligated. Chances are, she treats all her customers this way, and if she’s bothered that you want it to be how YOU want it, then it’s not worth it to stick with her. Some people are in this business for all the wrong reasons, I’m not saying she is, BUT, most artists understand that its a FOREVER piece of art and understand they need to do what the customer asks to the best of their ability. Hope this helped. 😀
Something that detailed is going to cost you a pretty penny, but the right tattoo is well worth it. Be prepared to spend a few hundred $200, possibly even more. It really all depends on who you go to though so be sure to search around and don’t just settle for the first place you walk into without doing a little bit of researching on an artists work. As for time it will probably be quite a few hours for a quarter sleeve/chest/back portions like that. My half sleeve took 7 hours, with two sessions. But if what your wanting is black it wont take that long. Dealing with one color isn’t as time consuming as dealing with several colors. Hope this helped. 🙂 Have fun and enjoy your first tattoo!
Wwll said my friend, well said.
Ask to look at portfolios, see what kind of personal style they have, make sure lines are clean, etc.
Very nice. I like how detailed and yet not overwhelming the shadow on it is.
My arms are all tattooed. The upper arm was by far the easiest. If you can do it on your foot this will be almost nothing compared to that…the bonier the…er um….hurtier….lol.
Yea, when I first was watching I thought “neat.” But as the story went on I just kept thinking oh my god. Some of the things they are saying are jsut…well I don’t know. Just makes me think. They said something about “not having time for custom” and I was stressed by that remark. I don’t know, nevermind, ignore my rants. Yea benifits are good, but, I just think that they aren’t in it for the right reasons. And tattoos are an art form, a way to express yourself, if you have to pick something off a wall then why bother. Just my opinion…
Hey, welcome to the forum.
Heh, I’ve been avoiding all that stuff like the frickin’ plague. I was gonna read the books, but then my little sister was going on and on and on about it, and from the info she told me, I was jsut like, nah, I don’t think anything good would come of this. I’d read the books, then see the movie, then rant and rave about how the movie wasn’t close enough to the book, etc, lol, that or I’m just a lazy asshole.
That’s an extremely long time, shoulda took 20 minutes tops for that outline, if that.
If one of my friends came at me with a tattoo machine and their work looked like hers, I straight punch em in the teeth.
People must be really drunk/high or just plain stupid to let her do that.
Wow. Those colors are brilliant.
Oh hot damn! Lol, that’s nice pal.
Welcome to the forum lady!
LMAO, well I believe that you can book an apointment in her living room, right next to the sepsis, and staph infection patients…lol!
Scars for sure, makes him look more interesting, like I wonder wtf he’s been through…
