Holy crap. Never go near that “artist again”. Looks like he went waaayyy too deep. but I’m no expert. The faded/light areas can be fixed easliy, no so sure about the q.

jsut find something you both love, or a inside joke or something. my fiance and I where gonna get matching penguin tats, but she decided that she wasn’t going to get any tattoos.

I hope its just now healing so good because it was the 3rd color applied to the area. It would really suck to not be able to use red, seeing as how my sleeve is gonna have a decent amount of red in it.

OP, I do the same thing. tat looks absolutley crazy in the mirror, but is dotty in some places up close. Whatever, it gives it character. no one will ever notice anyways.

Talk to the artist doing it about it. Ask their opinion, and they can also make it where it will be easiest/best to build off of it for the full sleeve.

A good way to go about brainstorming is just anytime you see something you like. anything, write it down. Compile a list of things you like or are significant to you, eventually you can come up with enough ideas to get enough small pieces to make the sleeve.
