Who ever your artist is that is recommending polysporin, you should stop going there. Polysporin is for infection and clearly a tattoo is an open wound. It ends up taking colour out of your tattoo. Actually to be perfectly honest you dont even need to use and moisturizer during the healing process, it will heal fine without it.

Numbing cream is not needed, tattoos aren’t that painful that you can’t at least sit there for 2 hours

thx for all the info guys, but i have 1 more question. My half sleeve i got done was my left lower half and now im looking to do my hand next week, considering that is right below the healing area is that going to be a problem ( at that point my half sleeve would have had a week of healing )

Never feel like you have to get a tattoo i made that mistake when i was 16. You might tend to rush into it and rush into picking and artist. Take it slow, look at many designs and find a good artist

For all my tats i have taken generally about 1 month to heal.

But a few days ago i got 1 of my half sleeves done and it looks like it is on path to be healed in record time so i guess it’s not always the same.

I reveal to the world the next day don’t let any clothing cover it or irritate it unless of course the sun is out that day.

Well, I currently have both forearms tattooed and I’ve gotta say no pain, a bit of an irritation though. Don’t listen to me though because i don’t find any tattoo painful. I could get tattooed for days straight until my body was completely covered.

I’d say do what makes you happy, but yet again your career is extremely important, so i would be better to find out first. Lucky for me my work has a 0 tolerance for discrimination of any kind and i can have tattoos any were i want.

That is exactly what you should do tattoo artists are your best friend, they will come up with things you have never thought possible. My drawing skills are great and I’d still rather go to my artist with whatever is on my mind.

First of all i gotta say i love the feeling of getting a tattoo, 0 pain maybe a little bit of irritation at certain moments but other then that i could sit there all day and get my whole body done in one session

Obviously I dont just go out and say im going to get a tattoo of whatever i see first because its fun. I put thought into my tattoos, but i also get tattoos that look good to me. Ohh and if you think art and creativity are meant to be serious your sadly mistaken.

Not alot of places care any more, but if you work somewere dealing with certain kinds of customers all it takes is for that customer to not like tattoos enough to not want to buy from you. Tattoos are now mainstream and soon will be recognized by all, its just a matter of time.

Im suprised to see someone else who feels the same way about tattoos as i do. Tattoos should be fun and about what you like, i get so many people come up to me telling me you should only get tattoos if they have meaning. i Get tattoos because i like the look of them. Keep doing your thing tats look great

I gotta say that is a sick piece of work you got there, the cool thing about bio-mech is that you’ll never have the same piece as anybody else. I’m hopeing to get mine done sometime soon.
