i have the same tattoo on the back of my neck and i hear the “4” thing all the time. a friend of mine has it larger on his upper arm but he has shading in red and blue around it. both still look kind of plain and we’re both looking for a way to “spruce” it up so to speak

and also on the soft skins you have to be careful of blowouts – where the ink runs and fades into the surrounding skin

yeah that’s up on Lytle around the corner pretty much from me. i have friends that had piercings done there but never any tattoos. A touch of the south is close to there too but i’ve heard some of the artists there go way too deep. i’ve already had one artist dig too deep on my back piece so thats enough lol. thanks for the tip

thats a personal choice. i would get it lightly colored in – nothing too heavy – over top of light sgading too for definition. but its your taste
