i’d say clean it real good then put a&d on it. the zinc has probably gotten too dry and stuck on there. the a&d will help moisten it back up and remove all the residue

the zinc will leave a reside but it should wash off with gentle rubbing. if i were you i’d go ahead and stop and use either a light coating of A&D or a light cover of Triple Antibiotic Ointment. i’m with the majority. no color
but also like a few others said i don’t like the solid black. shading would turn out better to me. but that’s personal preference

personally I myself would go for a cursive handwriting script of some sort. Old English letters would be too large for an upper arm piece unless you did only the first letters of each section.

i wouldnt suggest any kind of portrait of him. unless you find a really really awesome artist most of them tend to be cartoonish

in my opinion hand tattoos are ok depending on what you’re having put on them. they do tend to hurt a bit and they fade extremely easy. it would be a lifetime of touch ups to keep it looking nice.

i like the thicker outline idea. that is a very good point made there. the haunted forest idea would be ok if it’s your thing. i like the way the shading works into the crow itsellf in the original pic. maybe an overlay of a life quote with some tribal shading or something of the sort.

i have a phoenix posted in one of my albums that i want to get on my thigh. it’s in color but it wouldn’t take much for that to be changed to a black/grey shading. take a look and let me know what you think
