Hehe… No, notes don’t really give the feel of hardcore music… :p But yeah, some tribal work to connect it to you’re other tats would probably look good…

And yes, it does look better know… If you want to stay in the music theme you could have some notes coming from the guitar, but I don’t think there should be too much more on it, it’ll just make it too crowded…

Hey,
Sounds and looks like a cool idea, especially clean drawn by a professional artist. 😛
The pentagram is missing its bottom line though, so to say. I think it might look better if the mic is moved more upwards, as the top left corner seems a bit empty. So maybe moving it up and adding a pole to it aswell?

Though I haven’t gotten my tattoo yet, I would definitely be willing to contribute anything you could need – experiences with online communities and the reactions and thoughts of friends and family when I’ve told them I’m getting tattoed soon… :p You have been a big help for me, so I’ll do what I can in return. Plus, you’re simply just a nice guy. 😀

Hey zman,

Making it look more realistic is something I’ve (also) been thinking about. But yes, I’ll ask the tattoo artist that I end up choosing to “play” with it a bit. :p I just really wanted to have some ideas to talk about with him/her as well, therefore this thread. 😀 Thanks for the input.

Thank you, I very much appreciate your opinion. And you’re right about the crone part. :p

I hadn’t really thought about that, making one of the hearts a different colour, good idea, I’ll definitely think about it. 😀

That’s my belief too, so maybe that would be a good idea. I like the clouds thing best though, also to help create a bit of background. Wings are used so much though, and I guess it seems too christian for me, I haven’t really settled on a religion yet. 😉

But thanks so much for the help, always nice. 😀

I definitely like your idea, especially because it draws on your own experiences so much. And the fact that you can actually read kanji, at least some, makes it even better. 😉 But yeah, horizontal sounds good to me too. That way, you can make the characters bigger as well, I think they would have to be quite small to fit vertically on your wrist.
