Thank you, this is definitely a meaningful tattoo for me. 🙂
Hey look, here’s another tattoo survey on Survey Monkey!
I think it’s a really cool concept and very well executed. Congratulations to you and your artist. 😀
I like the lettering. On a philosophical note, I’d suggest it’d be just as true if you transposed the nouns. 😉
I got some more work done on my Who Killed Cock Robin tattoo about a month ago. This picture was taken today. It was done by the same artist, Rudy Neukerk of Revolt Tattoos in New Castle, DE. So far I have the robin, the sparrow with his bow and arrow, the fish with his little dish, the beetle with his thread and needle, and the fly with his little eye. If I decide to get any more characters I am going to have to have them on another body part; that leg is getting pretty full.
Try clicking on (or copy and pasting) the url at the top of the vid box. That’s how I got to it.
That was hysterical!
I think tattoos on a woman are extremely sexy.
Welcome. I like the Samurai, he’s cool.
I’m pretty sure the good doctor is just goofing around, but I really hope not. I am laughing so hard thinking about this that I have tears in my eyes. Some doofus wanna be gangsta goes and gets THUGZ tattooed on his neck, his dad coughs up the dough for an expensive laser removal, and the kid goes out and gets it again. That is just awesomely hysterical to me.:D
Your koi look great, real great. They are wonderfully balanced and work well together. Congratulations!
Whatever your artist uses is what he uses end of story, let the pro ‘s worry about the technical things.lining is for pusses anyways………. so there.jk
As I understand it the needle isn’t dry, they use water. I hate kitchen magicians as much as the next guy, but I don’t see a problem with being interested in the technical side of tattooing. I know you were just kidding, I just wanted to clarify that.
Oh, and I think unnecessary ellipses are for pusses. (also just kidding) 😀
It’s basically tattooing without any ink. During the session the artist will use the blood that shows up from tattooing with no ink as an outline, but when the tattoo heals the blood will be gone, leaving no outline.
I bought the book the other day. I think it is a fun book even if you are not her biggest fan. I personally like her, and was really interested in the break down of all of her tattoos.
Yeah, I get what you mean. I would suggest taking some time though and just thinking about some things that are important to you, something that really says who you are, and then finding a way to make that in to a tattoo.
To be honest though, I am sort of divided on the question of how much meaning a tattoo has to have. I think it is awesome when someone gets something done that has some deep personal meaning to them. I also think it is totally cool if you just want to find a picture or a design that appeals to you and have a really good artist put an amazing looking piece on you, even if it has no specific personal meaning. You still have a great piece of art, either way.
Good luck in your search. 🙂
