2) a skull and cross swords cos I was in Cornwall when I got it and that’s where pirates are from.

For me; my half sleeve is and always be a half even though I’d love a full sleeve. I’ll have a second half sleeve too once I can decide on a theme.

I think the time of year alters your healing time. I take longer to heal in winter. Cold weather takes a lot of the moisture out of your skin so it’s natural healing properties are compromised.

Are you looking for images of people or just representations? Modern or classic? There are lots of very beautiful paintings of the temptation of Adam (Eve handing him the apple) so it’s all dependent on your taste

I totally disagree. I’d take a day of line work over a day of shading every time. The one time I almost passed out from pain (I say pain…it was more a weird discomfort that turned my stomach) was during shading. *shudder* hellish.

Saying that, I much prefer being inked on boney areas than fleshy ones which seems to be rare. Maybe I’m just odd :s

I disagree. Today I got a 32 word quote on the back of my arm, just above my elbow, in a very intricate font and it only takes up about 4.5 inches squared. It looks fucking sweet, if I may say so myself :p So you’ll have LOADS of room around it on your inner bicep for extra bits with a quote that short.

Work out more and eat less. It’s a shit load cheaper than and less ridiculous than tattooing them on. You’re gonna look a right Jimmy when you’re 50+ and have a beer gut and have really prominent tattood on V lines.
