I obviously woudn’t get the arabic insult. Got too much ‘proper’ stuff on my shopping list. Maybe when I’m older and have space. 😀
I think silly little things like that though are cool. They embody who someone is without being pretentious or over though. I like wrestling so why not get a wrestling tattoo. My fella likes gaming so why not get a…[Read more]

I think some novelty tattoos are cool just don’t get them on your forearm or anything stupid.
If anyone out there knows WWE I want the Dx cartoon of Triple H
I also want Arabic writing or something that says ‘none of your fucking business’ so when people ask what it means I can say….you guessed it…. ‘none of your fucking business’. Yes I am…[Read more]

Maybe. From what I’ve read ‘coy’ and ‘coi’ just appear to be incorrectly spelled ‘koi’, that’s all. God it’s all so damn confusing! lol

A little red is good. When your body suffers a trauma like a tattoo or piercing or even cutting youself while chopping onions blood rushes to the area to try to heal it. If it gets like scary red just ask your artist for some advice, doctors don’t seem to know much in my expereince.
DON’T SCRATCH lol!!
They look great, nice clean lines. Your…[Read more]

There’s a WWE wrestler Randy Orton that prides himself on having his touched up at least once a year and his are immaculate. Probably the same theory.

Yeah ok that’s a little much. The lobe stretch doesn’t bother me at all but the nose *shudder* you can see right through it. What happens when he gets a cold? Who on earth would want to date that guy? Can you imagine bringing him home to meet your mum? Or worse Grandma?

I agree. Cocoa butter and bio oil are the shiz when it comes to scars. Id start using them asap cos tattooing over stretch marks is hellish. The skin is so thin on the scar that when the needle hits it you can feel it sink in deeper. It feels like it’s falling through your leg. Utter torture. Don’t mean to scare you :p

Lol neither am I.
Worst case scenario she can get it covered, there’s no harm in it and if it’s done well it wont cause extra scaring. Each to their own you know. If she’s happy with it being possibly incorrect at least it’s a funny story to tell the grand kids :p

Different inks (brands) fade differently. You might react strangely to a particular brand, not like an infection but your skin might not be quite as accepting if you get my drift. Best thing is to talk to your artist and ask if they used a different ink or anything or get them both touched up or gone over at the same time. It might be expensive…[Read more]

Just because you’re going through a dark time doesn’t mean your tattoo has to be dark. Instead of dwelling on the betrayal think of it as a new beginning or a fresh stat. Cherry blossoms-new beginnings, Koi fish-good luck etc.
If you’re dead set on dark, hannya masks are cool if she betrayed you. In traditional Thai theatre they are worn to…[Read more]

Not the wrong place to post but the link won’t work for me.
I wouldn’t worry about your sister she won’t die from a incorrect tattoo. She is, however, a fool for a few reasons:
1) never EVER get matching tattoos with your fella, you may as well sign your relationship away the second you get it.
2)NEVER get a tat in a language you don’t understand…[Read more] -

Luck, fortune, transformation, prosperity, new beginnings etc are usually the intended meaning but like with all Japanese mythology you will find a million and one variations.
The body shape doesn’t matter. It’s like with all art, it evolves over time. Big fat fish aren’t ‘correct’ and thinner ones aren’t ‘inncorrect’. If you get a skinny fish it…[Read more]

replied to the topic Your Opinion About This Tattoo Idea in the forum General Tattoo Discussion 14 years, 2 months ago
I agree with Butterfly. It looks pretty generic and not very well thought out. If you give it to an artist (a good one) they will usually make suggestions and if they don’t request them.
It looks pretty 90’s actually, tattoo fashion goes in cycles like clothing. You see a tribalish piece like that you think 90’s.
Also it doesn’t look like it would…[Read more] -

I like the shading it makes it look like a complete piece. If you only have the circuitry stuff it’d looks incomplete and amaturish.

replied to the topic Why do others stare at people that have tattoos? in the forum General Tattoo Discussion 14 years, 2 months ago
I don’t mind people staring at all. I’ve had several people I’ve never met approach me about my back piece to tell me how lovely it looks. The most flattering was a tiny old lady that told me that she normally didn’t like tattoo’s but my back was very pretty.
It’s started to effect how I dress, I’ll buy and wear clothes that show off my back now…[Read more]
