amen, turn all the scratchers out, f*ck them,
I collect great ink from great artists and I want these hacks gone as much as you do,
I wont use a shop that doesnt follow prescribed practices and I wont recommend one, no matter how talented they might be
Keep up the good work and best wishes, knock em out!

after you get a tattoo you may end up like me, you may want ALOT more, you will appreciate being selective as you begin to build your collection, collecting pieces that really mean something to you
thats how I have felt about it, friends told me to develop an idea in my head, then hold that idea for 6 months, if it was still a good idrea, ink…[Read more]

replied to the topic [langtitle=no]Will it strech?[/langtitle] in the forum Tattoo Questions and Experiences 12 years, 6 months ago
tattoos do stretch, I would suggest waiting until you are a size you intend to stay, a small change no big deal, a large change in weight and tattoo can distort

Don’t get a tattoo just to get a tattoo
When something really has your heart and mind then tattoo it,
Mark a place in your life, a person lost, a tattoo to tell people about you, or just an awesome piece of skin art for arts sakeUse the best artist you can get, like frank lantra

replied to the topic Think this could work as a tattoo? in the forum Tattoo Questions and Experiences 12 years, 6 months ago
It would work, pink is no problem, the problem is all the pale white,
Most skin doesn’t show white well as the ink is actually locked in our dermis layer and we see the white thru our own skin, mfor most of us our skin isn’t that clear
So white doesn’t show well after a few months,
However some folk have wonderful pale white skin and their back or…[Read more] -

I cover my sleeves as necessary, I chose to get the ink, it is not accepted by everyone ye, many of the generation before me don’t like it at all, I’d dont mind covering my work, I wear it openly 90 percent of the time

replied to the topic help.. tattoo not healing properly? *pic* in the forum General Tattoo Discussion 12 years, 6 months ago
As soon as it peeled you needed to stop applying anything, let it peel bone dry, after peeling a few times it quits and then you use light coating of unscented lubriderm as needed a time or two a week,

Your right a lot of the time they really hurt,
But it’s part of the process,
If you did your whole shin and anywhere near the back of your knee you know pain already,
For many people undersized of arm is very sensitive,
You will just need to do what you have done before.
Psych yourself into believing it isn’t going to be that bad, and grin and…[Read more] -

Depends on the size of the piece but r for medium to large work I do the following,
At first the tattoo is a large wound I need to get healing started.
I am wrapped dry before leaving the shop.
Four hours later I unwrap clean all those wonderful juices by washing with unscented anti bacterial soap. Then the LIGHTEST coat of a&doraquaphor.
I will…[Read more] -

a professional tattoo artist can take your thoughts and turn them into a bitchin tattoo, they do it for me all the time, if you like they will let you think about it for a few days, I recommend a tip of some sort to show your appreciation for the out of the u sual proceedure.
