They are Bitmap…..
This is my work pc. Everything I save to “My Pictures” becomes a bitmap. Seems only thing I can do is convert to an Adobe PDF…..do you think this could help? Hate bitmap…..
Wow Dozer, that sucks….I’d be pissed too!
My 1st I found off the net. I looked through pages & pages but kept coming back to this one tat. It was obviously drawn by somebody. My tat guy said it is weird because it is a Christian themed pic (angel’s wings with cross & trinity) but with Hebrew writing (apparently said “I am to my beloved as my beloved is to me”)….odd. Anyway, I just fell in love with the design but I had the Hebrew writing replaced by my kids names and it looks awsome. So ya, I guess you can say I copied but I did change it up to be original to me and I consider it very personal to myself. For my 2nd tat, since I love & trust my tat guy 100%, I gave him free rein. I gave him an idea & told him to do what he wanted so that one is 100% original. For my 3rd though, I just want a basic double bass clef so ya, I am sure many people have that but I don’t care….I like the way it looks and to me it represents something that is very very important to me & has been part of my life forever and always will be and that is music 🙂 I toiled with the idea of having a treble clef or musical notes….something along those lines but it’s the bass that makes me tic, nothing like it to ease my woes lol!
(now my only problem is figuring out where to put it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! any ideas?)
I think that if someone deliberatly stole my ideas I’d be pissed. But if it were someone close to me that I love, I don’t know…. like my daughter or something then I would be ok with it.
I think that quote tat would look great going down the inside of your forearm…..
My new tat is 3 weeks old today and it still itches on & off. At one point I wanted to just say “SCREW IT”! & tear the skin right off my foot but alas, I just suffer through it, lol. Try your best not to actually scratch it. Rub it lightly or wash & cream it when it gets to be too much & of course KEEP OUT OF THE SUN! Oh ya, be sure to always use a hypoallergenic, non-sented cream (& same for soap) – it is not a must but it is recommended.
I usually bring a pic to my artist before hand and we discuss then when I go for appointment he has it ready. I trust him 100% because I know his work & yes, if you find a great artist why ever change if you don’t have to!?
The last pic I brought him was such a shitty shot but I am positive that he’ll make something awsome out of it….the pic was just a guideline. Can’t wait to see it!
I think most artists encourage your feedback as they want to be sure you get what you want and if it is not possible or won’t turn out nice I think that most would say so……if not, maybe then you should shop for another artist.
Mind over matter, get yourself physced before you go in and know before hand that it’s gonna hurt like a bi*ch! (that why when it turns out to be not so bad you’ll fell like Superman lol) I found that concentrating on the music helped a lot (most shops play music) and also yaking with your artist is a good thing to keep your mind off the pain.
I am getting one on my foot and this is scaring the sh*t out of me because of all the horro stories I have heard but I’ve been conditioning myself menatlly so hopefully it goes well 😮
Dove man, can’t go worng with Dove – anytime, always, for anything 😉
Not sure how to post pics quite yet but yes, my 1st was in honnor of my kids. I have angles wings with a cross and trinity and my 3 kids names on my upper middle back.
I got my first tat this past February right before my 34th B-day!! Don’t know why I waited this long really but I guess I am glad I did….I think I put a lot more thought into it at this age than I would have if I were younger, but that’s just me ..
Going to get my second tomorrow and will be going for a third by the end of the year but then that is it for me……………………..lol, maybe 😉
