Thanks. This is my fifth tattoo, definitely put a ton of thought into it as I do with each one. I know it’s not terrible and I don’t totally dislike it, just thought there may be a way to offset that cliche girly vine look because it’s just not my personality ๐
Who knows, I may just get it covered up in a couple years when I feel like im ready to do a bigger leg piece.
I’ve wanted to do a really classic/old school sugar skull/rose piece with a banner for a while so maybe that’ll make a good cover up if I decide to nix it. ๐
Eek.. ๐
Would have to say you’ll definitely need some laser and then find a big forearm piece to cover it. Good luck!!
Thanks for the input. I was worried about too much detail overshadowing the original triskele design, so do you have any suggestions to improve it? I like it, but it seems too simple or something. I just don’t want it to look like every other girly little vine/flower tattoo I’ve seen and that’s kind of where it’s at to me..
Oh and here’s some better pictures for you:
Thanks for the reply, I see what you mean about uneven fill and I think it’s because of the picture quality and reflection in some spots due to the ointment. I’ll try to put up a better pic soon.
I want to have him put a vein in the leaves because they look too plain, any other suggestions?

5.How many tattoos do you have? 4
6.What style of tattoo do you prefer? Asian, floral, old school
7.What are your reasons for getting tattoos? 3 of them were commitments to begin particular journeys in my life. another was a lyirc from a song that i love. and my next will be a tribute to a friend that passed away.
8.What are your restrictions on tattoos? (i.e. none below the elbow, none on face, etc…) none on the face, feet, or low back.
the leathery bat wings are bad ass. grats on the sweet work.
you could always find a sweet fist pic and a sweet ankh pic and just take them to an artist and explain what you want. they may have even seen what youre talking about before.
GL!
Well that tattoo looks like it could be covered by just about anything! I really like floral tattoos on that area. Incorporate some filigree/paisley-ish filler with some flowers that have significance to you.
you could probably find someone to do it.. but it will fade a billion times quicker than a normal tattoo.
I agree about the sweat! I got a rib piece last summer and it did hurt to twist to the side or do anything that scrunched the skin on my very much.. but only for a day or so.
it only hurt for about a day after I got it done. good luck, just make sure to keep your tattoo clean!
thanks ๐
i also wanted to let everyone know its from a cLOUDDEAD song.. any other anticon fans out there? ๐
Thanks very much for all the comments.
I got a suggestion to add a bird swooping down towards Sunset. I think I might do that if it ever gets to me enough ๐
But for know, I do love it and to see so many people read it correctly online has reinforced that.
Thanks!!
