the sweat isnt good for it and niether is putting water on it quite often

sounds like a case of Jealousy to me……

so if somebody asked you to do some work, then after you completed it they offer you a tip….. not because they think your too cheap but because they liked your work…. would you take it or would you say to them that you dont believe in tips ??

its a little long for the wrist unless it wraps all the way around it, unless you have it quite small but thats not recommended as over time the ink will spread and will look horrible 😉
