i can fully understand your thoughts on licensed and unlicensed artists, but that does not change the rules of the forum….. unlicensed artists can not gain access to the pro area and also unlicensed artists can not discuss tattoo equipment, supplies or techniques. nor can they post imagfes for critique or praise…

some people have a small reaction to some colours of ink, normally yellows and reds, these can cause itchy sessions when the area of skin gets hot.

i always tell my clients to wash the tattoo afer about an hour using hot soapy water…. as hot as you can bare on it and then pat it dry, wait a minute or so and then wash it with cold soapy water, what this does is open the pores up and any excess ink that is inbetween the layers of skin is washed away, then the cold water closes the pores up…[Read more]

welcome to the forum, im not sure on the age limit in denmark for recieb=ving tattoos or i could of advised an artist friend of mine.

good luck in the learning process but i must advise you that discussion regarding equipment, techniques etc are only allowed in the licensed artist area 😉

it is still quite dark and so a little thought will need to go into this coverup…. it had faded but not enough to take other colours than reds, greens, blues and black

pale colours like white, yellow, pink etc will cover straight away but will show through very very quickly, sometimes even within the healing time (upto 6 wks) 😉

i dont think he meant that the ink will fade very quickly…

when we do shading it causes the area to bruise, which gives it a darker brownish tint to it, after a few days it should start to go away and the grey shading will start to appear as it should be… im sure thats what he meant. but it will benefit from being touched up about every 5 yrs
