white dont make for good tattoos.

white will never stay white and it will need touching up on regular basis. the white turns a yellowy colour after a while and changes colour real quick if open to the sunshine unless you use a very strong sun block.

make sure you have a good breakfast with plenty of carbohydrates and then have a sugary drink before you get the tattoo done, your body will automatically drain the sugars from your body while your sitting there, so take a small bottle of coke or similar with you (not diet or sugar free)

if you stand flat on the floor and draw a line along the side of your foot level with the top of your little toe then it is safe to tattoo down to that line without too much worry about fading quickly, below that normally drops out pretty quick

very clean and tidy touch up… im sure the pain was worth it 😉

if you go in the sun a lot then remember to use a high factor sun block on the tattoo (after it has fully healed) before going out in the sun, this will block the suns uv rays and stop it from fading the tattoo as quickly

unfortunately its still a no no…

its much too detailed for a small piece, an ideal size for this piece would be aprox 8 inches high so each pannel would be aprox 6 inches wide, otherwise the lines would mingle into a blob over only a short period of time, there is no way that this would fit on your calf muscle unles your built like a rhino 😉

grey like in that image is fine for filling in aound pieces, to join them all up into one big piece, but to have the script done in such shade would not look right at all

its not easy from your discription to work out what bars you mean…. im thinking that you mean wind bars, but if its not a traditional jap style tattoo then why have wind bars ???
