My brother spent 15 years in a texas prison and was recently released in October. He is full of beautiful tattoos, all done by a single needle and home made ink. Never have I seen tattoos so nice and could not believe that they were created with a home made gun. My brother was recently hired as a graphics artists by an Art network called ConvictedArtist. They really digged his prison style art and there is obviously a huge market for that art in clothing and advertising. Just look at Affliction clothing, Tap Out and ConvictedArtist Clothing, they are a hard core image created to appeal to MMA, UFC and even surfers and skaters. prison art is big and not every artist knows the trick of that trade.
