In the past when I’ve had my skin numbed or frozen for piercings I’ve actually found it more painful and now refuse the stuff.

I’m all for the artist drawing it up… definitely believe in paying for an artist who tattoos, not a tattooist who can copy, if that makes sense. I just wish I’d been blessed with the ability to draw!

Have to agree with framey on Darren Stares… he’s brilliant but has a years waiting list, however also has lots of cancellations come up apparently. I’m having mine done by the guy who works with him in his shop next week (Mark?) Who also has avery good reputation and some great pieces to his name

Yes, I’ve got a few photos of the basic idea, but would love to see an actual tattoo of it. I find that peoples tattoos are where I really notice what I think would work on me and want I wouldn’t want.

Regarding micro-dermals, I’d very carefully consider them. I’ve had several, the longest any lasted was 9months.
