I’m totally not buying the “it’s poor business” part either. Most sought after artists seem to be doing pretty well for themselves, and have long waiting lists.
Not really the signs of people struggling with poor business decisions in my opinion.

Personally, I’d go with what the artist recommends.
As you’ve found out, there are umpteen different methods of healing, I suspect it doesn’t matter a great deal as long as you don’t do something silly.

Yes, would be best to visit a good artist IMO, as Mr Chen says, they’ll be able to do something good with it.
I imagine a really good artist could do a fair bit with a keystone idea, lots of potential for depth, texture and realism there 😎

Not really, you’re looking at £100.00/night for a nearby hotel.
It may be cheaper to find a B&B outside and travel to and fro.
