Question: Has anyone ever seen well-done female genital tattoos?
Can’t think of one, but genital tats really aren’t my thing.
Some areas of skin are meant to never meant to be visited by needles IMO! -

Oh, agreed – If an artist gets snippy and doesn’t want to discuss stuff, I’d run, too. What do you think people should talk about on a tattoo forum, though? I consider you a respectable, knowledgeable, nice guy. I think your opinion is one worth listening to.
But I think you’re being a real jerk about this whole,…[Read more]

Don’t know if something along these lines would work? maybe if the lettering was made to look as if it was carved into stone or something under the skin?
You would need a very talented artist to pull if off well in my opinion, but then that goes for most tattoos really

Biomech and text? that’s gonna be different…
Maybe if you had it as the current wording written on something which forms part of the biomech, but you’d have to go way, way bigger with the overall tattoo and, IMO, it’d look crap, Biomech and text are poles apart. In my opinion (not that I know anything) I’d either get it lasered and start again…[Read more]

replied to the topic Hip tattoo? in the forum General Tattoo Discussion 12 years, 6 months ago
As above, make sure you really want it before committing.
Why the hip? seems a slightly unusual placement, upper arms etc are easily covered if you don’t want your ink on permanent display

Welcome to the forum ๐
If you’re not totally happy with the design of your tattoo, NOW is the time to do something about it!
Speak to your artist about getting it enlarged if you want it bigger, you need to be completely sure on it before making it permanent.
Good luck, look forward to seeing the completed piece ๐ -

Didn’t fancy Jim’s compassionate nature and caring hand then? never happier than when he’s causing pain is Jim ๐
Mantis will be a boring upper arm position, but I think that the coral reef background will probably extend onto my shoulder and back a little but I’m not entirely sure yet.

I know what you mean about Dan, I absolutely love his work but have no idea for something for me that would suit his style. I’ll probably buy one of his sketches for the front room though ๐

Believe it or not, that’s called a skin rip ๐
As above, bio-mech or bio-organic styles work extremely well with skin rips and just happen to be my favourite tattoos although they aren’t particularly popular.
There’s an example in my signature although it’s a lot more specific than just a skin rip example .
Actually, thinking about it, I…[Read more] -
